All Together Now | Kovacs Family

It’s that time of the year again – stories of angels, shepherds, and a newborn baby, carols, hot chocolate, the smell of pine trees, sparkling lights, presents, and cards in the mail. But what does everyone need to be able to create a good looking Christmas card?  Family pictures, of course!  Especially if they’ve welcomed a new addition into the family since they sent last year’s Christmas card.  Thankfully, I had the opportunity to do two family sessions this holiday season, the first of which was for the Kovacs family.  Their baby girl, Campbell, was born on November 23 – still only about a week old when we took these photos.  So small!  I met Zoli through work, and it has been a real pleasure to get to know him and his family better over the last few years.  A beautiful family and a beautiful private park right near their home make my job really easy!  The opportunity to capture memories, specific moments in time, for friends and family is definitely my favorite thing about photography.

Piehl Wedding Preview

Here are a few selected images in a short preview post from Clayton & Kristen’s wedding in Ingram, Texas. Katie and I loved getting to get to know both of these two – it was our pleasure to do their engagement photos and now their wedding! There were so many great pictures to choose from, more of which I will post in an ensuing blog entry, but this is just a teaser while I work on editing the rest of them. Keep an eye on the blog and on Facebook for another post in the near future!

Joshua Stephen | 11.6.2012

Last month, I had the awesome opportunity to do my first maternity photo shoot with Heather and Chris Coy.  You can see the images from that blog post here.  The great thing about maternity sessions is that shortly afterwards, new life is welcomed into the world, and sometimes I have the joy of taking pictures of the baby.  That was the case with Joshua Stephen, who was only 12 days old when we took these pictures.  What an adorable little guy!  Chris and Heather both have plenty of aspirations for their son – one of the most notable is Chris’ desire for another baseball player in the family tree.  Heather was happy getting him dressed up in a tie – have to prepare him for the corporate world in case the baseball thing doesn’t work out, right? We enjoyed every moment of both photo sessions with the Coys and can’t wait to get to know Joshua as he grows up!
