Malorie Bridals

I’ve been really hit-or-miss recently (mostly miss) with blog posts and updates on here, but Malorie was definitely not a “miss” in her bridal portraits.  These are from last year, and I can’t believe I hadn’t posted them yet!  How awesome did she look!  I’ll also be posting highlights from their wedding a little bit later, but for now, just enjoy these images taken on a warm summer afternoon in Austin.  Some of these were taken on the grounds of the Capitol and even inside – we weren’t sure whether this would be a problem, but it ended up being the perfect setting.

Jordan & Sarah | 7.12.14

Better late than never!  I’ll be able to say that about the next few upcoming posts – all of which are from weddings or other shoots in 2014.  Things got really busy at the end of the year, and I was just focused on getting the pictures back to my awesome clients.  It’s about time I caught up on my blog, though.

Jordan and Sarah got married on a beautiful summer day in Springfield, Illinois last July, and we were so happy to be so intimately involved in all the events.  Sarah is Katie’s cousin, so it was even extra-special!  We explored historic Springfield and took photos at the old State Capitol Building (built in 1840) and the nearby train station downtown.  It was so much fun hanging out with these two and the whole bridal party all day, and the reception was somehow even more fun.  We’ll remember this wedding for a long time to come!

Jordan & Sarah | Wedding Preview

Here’s a little sneak peek of Jordan and Sarah’s Springfield, Illinois wedding! (Fun fact of the day: I clarified that it was Springfield, ILLINOIS because “Springfield” is the 3rd most popular city name in the United States.)  What a fun day and a fun couple – we love these two so much.  You’ll remember that we took their (freezing) engagement photos back in January, and we’ve been waiting 6 months to photograph their wedding.  Keep an eye out for the full post with many more photos in the near future!  Congrats to Mr. & Mrs. Williams – welcome to the “W” Club.
